The Foundation for Southeast Texas today announced the recipients of the first round of grants from the $1.5 million Golden Pass Hurricane Harvey Recovery Fund. The fund will provide $1,164,035 to 10 local projects to support hurricane relief and mitigation efforts in our region.
The Foundation for Southeast Texas released applications Wednesday for funding to assist established relief organizations through the Golden Pass Hurricane Harvey Recovery Fund. Nonprofits and government organizations in Orange, Jefferson and Hardin Counties are encouraged to apply for funding to support hurricane recovery and mitigation efforts.
September 13, 2017 – Golden Pass Products, a partnership of Qatar Petroleum and Exxon Mobil Corporation affiliates, today announced the donation of $1.5 million to assist with relief efforts in southeast Texas communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.
July 29, 2016 – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission published the Final Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed $10 billion liquefied natural gas export project to be built by Golden Pass Products LLC at the existing world-class Golden Pass LNG import facility in Sabine Pass, Texas. The final EIS concluded GPP would have no significant impact on the environment when recommended mitigation measures are implemented. This key milestone moves the project into the final stages of permitting, setting the stage for significant and lasting benefits for the country.
More Than 150 Jefferson County Businesses Enrolled in Golden Pass Products’ Local Business Initiative
April 17, 2016 – Golden Pass Products today announced more than 150 businesses in Jefferson County successfully completed pre-screening through the Local Business Initiative. These businesses will receive priority consideration for work with the company’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project.
October 28, 2015 – Golden Pass Products today launched the Opportunity Roadmap, an initiative to connect local people and businesses with opportunities created by industrial development in Southeast Texas. The first phase of the Opportunity Roadmap is a Local Business Initiative, which gives local businesses an opportunity to get “pre-screened” to compete for work with the proposed Golden Pass Products liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project.
July 30, 2014 – Golden Pass Products, LLC has awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) services contract for its proposed natural gas liquefaction and export project in Sabine Pass, Texas to Chiyoda Corporation. Also participating in the development of the FEED services will be Chiyoda’s partner CB&I.
